Bismark Agyei Boadi, widely known as Oboubi, is emerging as a prominent contender for the Atwima Mponua Constituency Chairmanship of the New Patriotic Party, with supporters citing his track record of grassroots engagement and community service.
Described by party members as a leader focused on integrity, compassion, and purpose, Boadi has built a reputation in the constituency through consistent involvement in youth empowerment programs, support for vulnerable groups, and advocacy for local development initiatives.

Those close to his campaign say his approach has been defined by direct engagement with constituents and a willingness to address community needs outside the election cycle.
From supporting educational efforts for young people to providing assistance to the elderly and less privileged, his interventions have earned him recognition across the constituency.
“His actions speak louder than words,” one party member in the constituency said. “People know him for showing up, listening, and following through. That is why he has the trust of many in Atwima Mponua.”
Analysts note that the Atwima Mponua seat remains a key priority for the NPP as the party reorganizes at the constituency level ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Leadership at the constituency level is expected to play a central role in mobilizing the base, coordinating campaign activities, and strengthening party structures on the ground.
Supporters argue that Boadi’s emphasis on service and accessibility makes him suited to lead the constituency into the next political cycle.
They point to his ability to bridge gaps between the party’s leadership and the grassroots as a factor that could bolster unity and participation.
“Atwima Mponua needs a leader who listens, understands, and delivers,” a campaign coordinator said. “Oboubi has demonstrated that consistently, and members believe he is the right choice to take the constituency forward.”
If elected, Boadi is expected to focus on consolidating party structures, expanding youth involvement, and aligning constituency activities with the broader objectives of the NPP in the Ashanti Region.
Party executives say the upcoming internal elections will be critical in determining the direction of the constituency’s political organization.
