Exposing Your Brethren Is Exposing God’s Nakedness – Evangelist Akwasi Awuah Warns Christians

The Founder and Leader of Pillar of Zion Church International, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, has cautioned Christians against exposing the weaknesses and failings of fellow believers to the world.

Speaking on Day 2 of a week-long powerful programme dubbed “Heaven Is A Must“, organized by the Eternal Liberty Ministry (E.L.I.M.), Evangelist Awuah urged Christians to adopt a more Christ-like approach in handling the faults of their brethren.

According to him, when a Christian falls into sin or weakness, the responsibility of other believers is not to publicize it or ridicule them, but to confront the person in love and support them through prayer and fasting to stand firm again.

“Exposing your brethren to the world is exposing God’s nakedness to the world,” he told the congregation.

Evangelist Awuah anchored his message on the Biblical account of Noah in Genesis 9:20-22, where Noah, after planting a vineyard, became drunk with wine and lay uncovered in his tent.

He explained that Ham, who saw his father’s nakedness and went out to tell his brothers, attracted a curse upon his generation, while Shem and Japheth who covered their father’s nakedness with a garment and refused to look, were blessed.

He noted that many Christians today behave like Ham, quick to broadcast the mistakes of pastors, church members and fellow Christians on social media and to the world, instead of covering them in prayer.

The man of God emphasized that God’s divine visitation and restoration comes when believers learn to cover each other and intercede for one another, rather than judging and disgracing one another.

The “Heaven Is A Must” programme continues throughout the week at the Eternal Liberty Ministry, with Evangelist Akwasi Awuah has the special Guest speaker.

The second night was marked by intense prayer, worship and deliverance, with hundreds in attendance.
