Ashanti Regional NPP Youth Wing Appoints Oforikrom MP Mike Aidoo As Patron
The Ashanti Regional Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially appointed the Member of Parliament for Oforikrom, Hon. Mike Aidoo, as a Patron of the Youth Wing.
The appointment was formalized when the Regional Youth Wing, led by the Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer, Commander Martin Ameyaw, paid a courtesy visit to the MP at his office.
The visit was aimed at formally informing Hon. Aidoo of the decision by the regional youth leadership to co-opt him as a Patron in recognition of his continuous support for youth development, his commitment to the party, and his dedication to grassroots mobilization in the region.
Hon. Mike Aidoo graciously accepted the appointment and expressed his profound gratitude to the Youth Wing for the honour done him. He pledged his unflinching support and commitment to the cause of the youth and the party at large.
According to him, the youth remain the backbone and future of the New Patriotic Party, and it is imperative to invest in their growth, welfare and political empowerment to secure victory for the party in the upcoming general elections.
On behalf of the entire Ashanti Regional Youth Wing, Commander Martin Ameyaw expressed sincere appreciation to the Hon. MP for accepting the responsibility.
He noted that with the guidance, experience and support of patrons like Hon. Aidoo, the Youth Wing is more than confident and poised to work tirelessly, mobilize at the grassroots, and ensure that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is elected as the next President of the Republic of Ghana.
Commander Ameyaw further indicated that the Youth Wing will continue to engage more senior members and stakeholders of the party to serve as patrons and mentors to strengthen the youth front ahead of the 2028 general elections.
