Atwima Nwabiagya South NPP Delegates Urged to Back John Kwame Duodu ‘Sir John’ for Constituency Secretary

The campaign to elect the next Constituency Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Atwima Nwabiagya South is framing the contest as a choice between continuity and transformation, with supporters urging delegates to vote for John Kwame Duodu, popularly known as “Sir John,” who is contesting on the ballot as Number 2.

In an appeal to delegates, the campaign team said the future of the constituency party hinges on “the right leadership” in the Secretariat, describing the Secretary role as central to efficient administration, unity, and grassroots mobilization ahead of 2028.

Transformation Begins with the Right Leadership

The statement positions the election as a turning point for Atwima Nwabiagya South NPP.

“The transformation of Atwima Nwabiagya South NPP begins with right leadership. For efficient administration and a united constituency, let us vote John Kwame Duodu as our next Constituency Secretary,” the campaign said.

According to the team, a strong Secretariat is critical to coordinating polling station activities, improving communication between the constituency executive and the base, and ensuring that party structures function effectively between election cycles.

Ballot Position and Voting Call

John Kwame Duodu will appear as Number 2 on the ballot paper for the Constituency Secretary position.

“Kindly pick up your ballot, look for John Kwame Duodu (Sir John), and thumbprint Number 2 for progress and real development,” the campaign urged delegates. “Your support will make this victory possible.”

The campaign is asking members to focus on competence, commitment, and accessibility, arguing that the Secretariat must be led by someone who will remain engaged with the grassroots and accountable after the elections.

Appeal for Unity and Development

Supporters say Sir John’s candidacy is anchored on rebuilding internal cohesion and driving the constituency’s development agenda within the party. They believe his leadership will help close gaps in administration and strengthen the NPP’s electoral machinery in one of the Ashanti Region’s key constituencies.

“Vote John Kwame Duodu! Vote Number 2!” the campaign concluded, expressing confidence that delegates will choose experience and organization over rhetoric.

The NPP is expected to conduct its constituency executive elections in the coming weeks as part of preparations toward the 2028 general elections.
