Sir John Secures Atwima Nwabiagya Delegates’ Endorsement Ahead of Elections

Supporters in the Atwima Nwabiagya Constituency have rallied behind Sir John, expressing confidence that delegates will retain their trust in him despite mounting campaign rhetoric as the party’s internal elections approach.

In a statement issued Tuesday, party members emphasized that leadership is built on service, and that delegates in the constituency value consistency and dedication over campaign distractions.

“Leadership is earned through service, and delegates never forget those who serve faithfully,” the statement read.

The statement acknowledged the tense atmosphere typical of internal party contests, citing “noise, propaganda, insults, intimidation, or backbiting” as common features of election periods.

However, it maintained that such factors will not alter the choice of delegates who have already assessed candidates based on track record.

“No matter the noise, propaganda, insults, intimidation, or backbiting, the decision of the delegates remains unchanged,” it said. “When delegates choose a leader they trust, their minds cannot be swayed by unnecessary distractions.”

Addressing Sir John directly, the statement highlighted his tenure as Constituency First Vice Chairman and pointed to his contributions to party organization and growth in Atwima Nwabiagya.

“Sir John, the delegates of Atwima Nwabiagya Constituency have already placed their confidence in you. They know your track record, your sacrifices, and your unwavering commitment to the growth of the party.

They have witnessed your efforts as Constituency First Vice Chairman and continue to appreciate your dedication and hard work,” it noted.

The statement urged him to stay focused on grassroots engagement, arguing that direct interaction with party members at the base level remains the strongest campaign strategy.

“Remain focused and continue engaging the grassroots. Your service to the party speaks louder than any criticism,” it added.

Atwima Nwabiagya is one of the key constituencies in the Ashanti Region, and internal elections there often draw wide attention due to high delegate numbers and competitive races.

Political observers say the final weeks before constituency elections are typically marked by intensified campaigning, as aspirants seek to consolidate support among delegates who ultimately determine the outcome.

“The delegates know who can lead them forward, and they have already made their choice,” the statement concluded.

Party officials in the constituency have called on all aspirants and supporters to maintain decorum and ensure the elections are conducted peacefully in line with party guidelines.
