Olivia Mensah Urges Amenfi East NPP Delegates to Prioritize Integrity in Upcoming Polls

The incoming New Patriotic Party Women’s Organizer for Amenfi East Constituency, Miss Olivia Mensah, has called on party leadership and members to uphold integrity and decorum during this weekend’s constituency elections.

Speaking to party faithful ahead of the polls, Miss Mensah said the credibility of the NPP in Amenfi East depends on how transparently and peacefully the internal elections are conducted.

She urged delegates and aspirants to prioritize the unity of the party above personal interests, noting that a divisive contest could undermine the party’s chances in future elections.

“As we go to the polls this coming weekend, I am appealing to our leadership and all members to highly uphold the integrity of this process,” Miss Mensah stated.

“This election is not about individuals. It is about strengthening the NPP in Amenfi East and positioning ourselves to win more for the party.”

Miss Mensah, who is widely tipped to win the Women’s Organizer position, described herself as a unifier and grassroots mobilizer.

She pledged to work with all factions within the party to rebuild structures from the polling station to the constituency level.

According to her, the role of Women’s Organizer requires commitment, discipline, and honesty, values she said she is ready to demonstrate once elected.

Party executives in the constituency are expected to oversee elections for various positions including Chairman, Secretary, Organizer, and Women’s Organizer this weekend as part of the NPP’s nationwide reorganization exercise.

Some delegates who spoke to reporters welcomed Miss Mensah’s call, saying a peaceful and credible election will send a strong signal that Amenfi East is ready to retain the seat for the NPP in 2028.

“We need leaders who will unite us, not divide us,” one delegate noted. “If we all uphold integrity as Miss Olivia Mensah is calling for, then the best candidates will emerge.”

The NPP’s constituency elections across the country are being viewed as a test of grassroots strength and internal cohesion ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Miss Mensah concluded by encouraging delegates to vote based on competence and track record, and to accept the outcome in the interest of party unity.
