Kumasi Set To Shake As Leavers Party In The Park Returns With Massive Lineup

Kumasi is gearing up for one of its biggest youth celebrations of the year as the highly anticipated Leavers Party In The Park returns to Heroes Park on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Organizers say this year’s edition will feature over 21 top performers, with award-winning rapper Kweku Smoke billed as one of the headline acts set to rock the city.

A Night Of Music, Food And Celebration

The Leavers Party In The Park catch a “Vybe”  has grown into one of Ghana’s biggest annual graduate celebrations, drawing together recent graduates, current students, and music lovers for a night of entertainment and networking in a festival-style atmosphere.

The Oseikrom City’s capital Kumasi, event promises live music, food vendors, brand activations, and dedicated spaces for graduates to connect, celebrate their milestones, and usher in the next chapter of their lives.

“We’re bringing the biggest energy to Kumasi. This is for the graduates, the students, and everyone who loves good music and good vibes,” an organizer said.

“With over 21 big performers on the lineup, including Kweku Smoke, the city should expect a night to remember.”

While the full list of performers is yet to be released, organizers confirmed that Kweku Smoke will lead a lineup of more than 21 acts spanning hip-hop, afrobeats, drill, and highlife.

The mix is expected to cater to a wide audience and keep the crowd engaged from opening acts through to the late-night finale.

The Accra edition of the party have attracted thousands of attendees and trended across social media, cementing the event’s reputation as the go-to end-of-year celebration for graduates in the Ashanti Region.

Heroes Park, known for hosting major concerts and public events in Kumasi, will be transformed into a concert and festival ground for the night.

Event planners say security, ticketing, and logistics arrangements have been put in place to ensure a safe and smooth experience for attendees.

With the date set for August 15, anticipation is already building across campuses and on social media, where graduates are sharing throwback photos and countdowns ahead of the party.

The Leavers Party In The Park continues to position itself not just as a concert, but as a cultural moment for Ghana’s youth blending music, food, fashion, and networking into one large celebration.
