The Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Martin Ameyaw, was the Special Guest of Honour at the TESCON-USTED-K Handing Over and Dinner Night held on Friday, 28th August, 2026.
The colourful ceremony was organized to recognize and appreciate the meritorious and dedicated service of the outgoing TESCON leadership, and to formally usher in the newly elected executives to steer the affairs of the student wing on campus.
Addressing the gathering, Commander Martin Ameyaw commended the outgoing executives for their sacrifice and commitment to the growth of TESCON and the NPP at large.
He charged the newly elected executives to be proactive and work beyond the confines of campus politics.
According to him, the task ahead requires that they take the message and vision of the NPP to the ordinary Ghanaian in markets, lorry stations, and communities as part of the broader strategic agenda to recapture power in 2028.
He further admonished the general membership to rally solidly behind the new leadership and provide them with the needed support to succeed in their mandate.
To the outgoing executives, Mr. Ameyaw encouraged them not to go dormant after their service on campus but to remain committed and continue serving the party actively in their various constituencies.
The event, which was well-attended by TESCON members and party faithful, ended in high spirits with members renewing their commitment and resolve to work tirelessly for victory in 2028.
