Stop Boasting About Your Education, Let The Holy Spirit Lead You – Evangelist Akwasi Awuah Warns Christians

The Founder and Leader of Pillar of Zion Church International, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, has cautioned Christians, particularly Ministers of the Gospel, to desist from boasting about their academic qualifications and rather allow the Holy Spirit to take charge of their lives and ministry.

He also urged believers to serve God with humility and uphold the integrity of their faith in Jesus Christ.

Evangelist Awuah gave the admonition while addressing the congregation on Day 3 of a week-long power-packed programme dubbed “Heaven Is A Must”, organized by Eternal Liberty Ministry ( E.L.I.M. ) at Kwadaso-Estate in the Ashanti Region.

Speaking on the theme of faith and humility, the renowned Evangelist declared that a time is coming when the current generation of preachers will no longer be around, and the mantle will fall on the congregation to continue the work of God.

“There will be a time to come when there will be no Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, no Prophet Prince Kobbies, but the mantle will be on the congregation to take charge and continue God’s work,” he charged.

Making reference to the life of Abraham, Evangelist Awuah said Abraham demonstrated unwavering faith, humility and obedience to God, to the extent of being willing to sacrifice his only son Isaac as an offering to God. He said that level of humility and obedience is what modern Christians must emulate.

He lamented that pride has taken centre stage in the lives of many Men of God because of the miracles, deliverances and healings God uses them to perform.

“Proudness has been dwelling in a lot of Men of God because of miracles, deliverance and healing God uses them as a vessel to do through them,” he stated.

Evangelist Awuah further encouraged Christians to humble themselves and associate with elderly and spiritually mature persons to learn and acquire more knowledge and wisdom.

He also expressed worry over the growing disrespect and insults directed at Men of God who are only fulfilling their divine mandate.

“Professors and lecturers are doing their duties in our universities and they are not insulted, but there have been a lot of insults on Men of God doing their duties as a mandate as servants of God,” he noted.

The week-long programme “Heaven Is A Must” continues to attract hundreds of worshippers from within and outside Kwadaso, with powerful ministrations, prayer sessions and word impartation.
