The Founder and Leader of Pillar of Zion Church International, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, has issued a strong warning to Christians to do away with sinful lifestyles if they truly desire to walk with God and make heaven.
According to him, it is impossible for the Spirit of God to dwell in a person who is still entangled in gossip, adultery, theft, pride, envy, hatred and other ungodly acts.
Evangelist Awuah gave the warning while ministering on Day 4 of a week-long powerful programme dubbed “Heaven Is A Must”, organized by Eternal Liberty Ministry (E.L.I.M.) at Kwadaso Estate in the Ashanti Region.
Speaking to a packed congregation, the renowned Evangelist said many Christians claim to be walking with God but their lives contradict the very God they claim to serve.
“If you want to walk with God, remove sin from your life,” he declared.
He questioned how believers expect the Holy Spirit to operate in their lives when they deliberately harbour sin.
“How can God’s Spirit dwell in you when you are filled with gossip, adultery, thief, proud, envy, hatred, etc.,” he quizzed.
Evangelist Akwasi Awuah emphasized that holiness remains the standard of God and without it, no one can have genuine fellowship with Him. He noted that heaven is not for those who merely go to church, but for those who live a transformed life that reflects Christ.
He urged Christians to examine themselves, repent from their sinful ways, and pursue righteousness, humility and love, adding that God is seeking a people whose hearts are pure and ready to do His will.
