I’M A BRIDGE BETWEEN GEN Z AND OLD GEES; MY MISSION IS WINNING SOULS FROM THE STREET TO CHRIST – APAASE

The Fast-rising Gen Z gospel artiste, Apaase Atote, popularly known as Apaase, says he sees himself as a divine bridge between the Gen Z and the older generation, with a special calling to win souls from the street for Christ.

The S.N. Empire CEO made this revelation when he appeared on Oseikrom After Drive with Oboye Salvation on Oseikrom 98.7 FM in Kumasi, as part of his Ashanti Regional media tour.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, the “MASEDA” hitmaker said his music career is not just about entertainment, but a deliberate evangelism strategy to reach the youth who are often neglected by traditional gospel.
“God has positioned me as a bridge between Gen Z and the Old Gees. I understand the language of the street, I understand the pain of the youth, and I also carry a message that the elderly can connect with. My mission is simple to use music to win souls from the street to Christ,” Apaase stated.

According to him, many young people on the streets are battling depression, addiction, peer pressure and hopelessness, and the church needs a more relatable approach to reach them. He believes his fusion of contemporary sound with deep gospel content is the tool to draw them closer to God.
“I came from that background, so I know what it means to be on the street. The street has many talented souls who just need direction and Christ. That is why I do gospel in a way Gen Z will listen to, but still maintain the power of the Word,” he added.
Apaase, who is widely described as a gospel legend in the making within the Gen Z fraternity, emphasized that his brand is built on originality, spirituality and impact, not just trends.
He further urged fellow young gospel artistes to remain focused on soul-winning rather than chasing fame and numbers, adding that true ministry is measured by lives transformed.
The sensational singer is currently promoting his new thanksgiving anthem “MASEDA,” which is already enjoying massive airplay and trending across gospel platforms.
His appearance on Oseikrom 98.7 FM with Oboye Salvation forms part of a series of media engagements aimed at promoting the new single and sharing his inspiring story of grace from grass to grace.
