I AM A POTENTIAL PASTOR; MY MINISTRY IS ABOUT CHANGING STREET LIFE TO CHRIST LIFE – GEN Z GOSPEL LEGEND APAASE

A Ghanaian Gen Z gospel sensation Apaase Atote, popularly known as Apaase, has revealed that he sees himself as a potential pastor whose core ministry is transforming the lives of the youth from street life to Christ life.

The “MASEDA” hitmaker made this powerful revelation when he appeared on Sikka Dwa Drive with Kwabena Buju, as part of his ongoing Ashanti Regional media tour.

According to the S.N. Empire CEO, his calling goes beyond just singing gospel songs. He noted that his real assignment is to evangelize to young people on the streets and lead them to give their lives to Christ.

“I am a potential pastor. My ministry is not just music, it is about winning souls from the streets to Christ. God has given me the grace to connect with the youth, and my aim is to change their street life to Christ life,” Apaase stated.

He explained that many young people today are caught up in social vices, peer pressure, depression and street hustles, and the gospel needs to be presented to them in a language and style they understand.

Speaking on how his ministry blends with today’s fashion and lifestyle, the gospel star emphasized the importance of knowledge and evolution in ministry.

“Knowledge is progress. Ministry must grow with knowledge. The way we package the gospel today must reflect understanding of today’s fashion and attitude, without compromising the message of Christ,” he hinted.

Apaase further noted that being fashionable or trendy does not make one less spiritual. For him, what matters is the content of the message and the intention behind it. He believes that for the church to effectively win the Gen Z generation, it must understand their culture, language, and style while still leading them to salvation.

The award-winning artiste, who has become a household name in Ghana’s Gen Z gospel fraternity, is currently promoting his new thanksgiving single “MASEDA” a song that chronicles his personal journey of grace, survival, and God’s favor.

His interview on Sikka Dwa Drive with Kwabena Buju has since sparked conversations among gospel lovers, with many praising his bold approach to youth evangelism and modern-day ministry.
