LEGEND MEETS NEW GENERATION: MAESTRO KOJO ANTWI AND LASMID TO HEADLINE LEGACY NITE IN KUMASI THIS DECEMBER
The Garden City is set to experience a historic musical clash of generations as Ghanaian music legend, the Maestro Kojo Antwi, and Highlife-Afrobeat sensation Lasmid, are billed to rock Kumasi this December.
The much-anticipated concert, dubbed “LEGACY Nite,” is being organized by DK Events and promises to be one of the biggest festive season events in the Ashanti Regional capital.
According to the organizers, the event seeks to celebrate timeless Ghanaian music by bringing together a legendary icon whose music has defined decades and a young superstar who is currently dominating the airwaves.
Mr. Music Man, Kojo Antwi, known for evergreen hits such as “Adiepena,” “Tom and Jerry” and “Medofo Pa,” is expected to thrill patrons with a live band performance full of nostalgia and highlife mastery.
He will share the stage with Lasmid, the “Friday Night” hitmaker and one of Ghana’s most sought-after young talents, who is expected to bring youthful energy and contemporary vibes to the night.
The concert is scheduled for Saturday, 27th December, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Miklin Hotel, Kumasi.
