The grassroots and supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Amenfi East Constituency have called on delegates to endorse Miss Olivia Mensah as the next Women’s Organizer, describing her as the best candidate to lead the party’s women’s front.
The call comes as the constituency intensifies campaign activities ahead of the NPP’s internal executive elections.
“Vote for Number 1”
In a statement issued by grassroots mobilizers over the weekend, party supporters said the base has rallied around Miss Mensah’s candidature because of her commitment, accessibility, and track record of working with women at the polling station level.
“The grassroots and supporters of the New Patriotic Party in the Amenfi East Constituency have called on delegates to ‘Vote for Number 1’ Miss Olivia Mensah as the best candidate for the Women’s Organizer position,” the statement read.
Supporters argued that the Women’s Organizer role requires a leader who understands the challenges of grassroots women, can mobilize effectively, and can unite the wing ahead of the 2028 general elections.
“Miss Olivia Mensah is one of us. She has been consistent in empowering women, supporting polling station executives, and keeping the party active in our communities,” a polling station executive said.
The grassroots said her campaign focus on unity, empowerment, and resource mobilization makes her the right choice to strengthen the NPP women’s wing in Amenfi East.
Building Momentum for Victory 2028
According to supporters, electing Olivia Mensah will help build a stronger, more organized women’s front capable of driving voter education, turnout, and mobilization for the party.
“Together, we can empower our women and build a stronger Amenfi East NPP for Victory 2028,” one campaign coordinator stated.
The NPP is expected to conduct constituency executive elections across the country in the coming weeks as part of its preparations for the next general elections.
With the grassroots backing, Miss Mensah’s campaign is expected to gain further momentum among delegates in Amenfi East ahead of the polls.
