MAN PARALYZED FOR 2 YEARS, UNABLE TO STAND FOR 10 YEARS, WALKS AGAIN AFTER PRAYER BY EVANGELIST AKWASI AWUAH AT “HEAVEN IS A MUST” CRUSADE

A week-long powerful revival programme dubbed “Heaven Is A Must” organized by the Eternal Liberty Ministry (E.L.I.M.) has recorded a remarkable testimony as a man who had been unable to stand on his feet for the past ten years and completely paralyzed for two years reportedly received instant healing.

The miraculous healing occurred during a special prayers session for the sick ministered by the Founder and Leader of Pillar of Zion Church International, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, who was the guest minister for the programme.

The event, which drew thousands of congregants from across the Ashanti Region and beyond, was marked by intense worship, word ministration and prayers for deliverance, healing and salvation, in line with the theme “Heaven Is A Must.”

From Paralysis To Praise

According to eyewitnesses, the man, whose name has been withheld for family reasons, was carried to the crusade grounds by relatives, having lost all ability to stand or walk. For a decade, he had struggled with a severe condition that affected his legs, which eventually left him completely paralyzed and bedridden for the last two years.

During the healing service, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah called for the sick to be brought forward for prayer. After a fervent prayer session, the man is said to have felt strength return to his legs. To the amazement of the crowd, he stood up, took his first steps without support, and began walking, triggering wild jubilation and praises across the auditorium.

Clad in tears, the man later mounted the podium to share his testimony, recounting the pains, neglect and abandonment he endured throughout his years of affliction.

He narrated how friends deserted him, how he became a burden to his family, and how he lost hope of ever walking again after several medical interventions failed to improve his condition.

“I have been abandoned by many people because of my condition. For ten years I could not stand properly, and for two years I have been completely paralyzed on my bed. I have been through a lot of pain and shame. But today, God through His servant Evangelist Akwasi Awuah has healed me and given me my life back,” he told the congregation amidst tears.

Evangelist Akwasi Awuah Attributes Glory To God

In his ministration, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah attributed all glory to God, stressing that healing comes from Jesus Christ alone and not from any man. He emphasized that the purpose of the programme is to remind people that despite earthly challenges, making heaven must remain the ultimate goal for every believer.

He urged Christians to hold on to their faith in difficult times and to never give up, adding that God still performs miracles today.

Leaders of the Eternal Liberty Ministry (E.L.I.M.) described the miracle as a confirmation of God’s presence in the programme and an encouragement for many who are going through similar afflictions.

The organizers noted that the “Heaven Is A Must” programme, which was scheduled as a week-long encounter, has been characterized by numerous testimonies of deliverance, restoration and salvation, with many attendees rededicating their lives to Christ.

The programme is expected to continue with more prayer sessions and evangelism outreach as the ministry seeks to win more souls for the Kingdom of God.

Several attendees who spoke to Oseikrom 98.7fm.com described the atmosphere as electrifying and full of the power of God, with many expressing belief that the testimony of the formerly paralyzed man will inspire faith and hope for many families battling chronic illnesses.
