
The Chief Executive Officer of Zionite Group Limited, Mr. Abdulai Sakra, has joined the Dagbon Traditional Council and people of Dagbon to mourn the passing of the late Overlord of Dagbon, His Royal Majesty Ndan Yaa-Naa Abukari II.

Mr. Sakra, whose business interests in Ghana include Zionite Real Estate, convey the condolences of the Zionite Group to the Council, elders, and the entire Dagbon Kingdom.

“A Great Loss To Dagbon And Ghana”
Mr. Sakra described the death of the late monarch as a painful loss not only to Dagbon but to the nation as a whole.

“It is very sad to lose a loved one, especially someone so dear to you and to the people you serve,” he said. “Ndan Yaa-Naa Abukari II was a father to all. His presence brought calm, and his words brought direction.”
The CEO noted that the late Yaa-Naa was widely respected for his commitment to peacebuilding and for providing leadership during a critical period in Dagbon’s history.

Call To Uphold Legacy Of Peace
Mr. Sakra urged the people of Dagbon to draw strength from the values the late Overlord lived by and to continue working for unity in the kingdom.
“Let us hold up to the peaceful lifestyle of the late Ndan Yaa-Naa Abukari II,” he said. “That is the surest way to honour his memory and to make us unified as one people.”
He added that the business community also has a role to play in supporting development and stability in the region, in line with the vision the late King championed.

Traditional Council Receives Condolences
Members of the Dagbon Traditional Council who received the delegation expressed appreciation for the gesture.
They noted that messages of support from corporate leaders and citizens across the country have helped to strengthen the resolve of the kingdom during the mourning period.
The Council reiterated its call for calm and unity as arrangements continue for the third-day prayers and the eventual funeral rites of the late Overlord.
