The Resident Pastor of the Pillar of Zion Church International Headquarters, Pastor Gabriel Amponsah, has revealed that Christianity is a process and not magic as many believers perceive it to be.

Pastor Amponsah made this known while delivering a powerful sermon during the September 11 Watch Night Service at the church’s headquarters.

Speaking to a packed congregation, the man of God explained that the Christian journey requires patience, growth, discipline and consistent fellowship with God, rather than expecting instant and magical results for every prayer.

According to him, many Christians become frustrated in their faith because they expect Christianity to work like magic, forgetting that God works through processes to build character, faith and maturity in His children.
“Christianity is a process, it is not magic. God takes us through stages to prepare us for where He is taking us. You cannot skip the process and expect the product,” Pastor Amponsah stated.
He further urged Christians not to downplay their faith in God, even when going through difficult and challenging times.

Pastor Amponsah noted that challenges and delays are part of the divine process designed to strengthen the believer, and therefore Christians must remain steadfast, prayerful and rooted in the Word of God.

He emphasized that just as a seed goes through a process before becoming a fruit-bearing tree, so does a Christian need to go through spiritual processes before manifesting greatness.

The Watch Night Service was marked by intense prayers, worship, and prophetic declarations, with many congregants rededicating their lives to trust in God’s timing and process.
