The Incoming Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer for the New Patriotic Party, Martin Ameyaw, has picked number 3 on the ballot paper ahead of the party’s regional executive elections.
The balloting, held during the week in Kumasi, officially set the order for aspirants contesting various regional positions.
Speaking after securing his slot, Mr. Ameyaw said his campaign is anchored on four core principles he believes are needed to re-energize the youth wing of the party in the region.
“My vision is simple and clear: Experience, Humility, Strategy and Recognition,” he stated.
“The youth are the engine of this party. We need leadership that understands the structures, respects the people, plans properly, and ensures our young men and women are recognized and rewarded.”
He said his years of active involvement in party activities at both constituency and regional levels have given him the experience required to lead effectively and deliver results.
Focus On Youth Mobilization And Welfare
Mr. Ameyaw outlined plans to strengthen the NPP’s youth base across all 47 constituencies in the Ashanti Region.
According to him, key priorities will include better coordination of youth activities, skills training, entrepreneurship support, and creating clear pathways for young party members to grow within the party.
“We must move from just mobilizing youth during elections to building and recognizing them all year round,” he noted.
“When our youth feel valued and supported, they will work harder and bring more votes for the NPP in 2028.”
He also pledged to work closely with constituency youth organizers, TESCON, and other youth groups to ensure unity and a common agenda.

The Youth Organizer hopeful said the Ashanti Region must adopt a more strategic and data-driven approach to youth mobilization if the NPP is to increase its vote share in the next general elections.
He promised to introduce regular engagement platforms, monitoring systems, and capacity-building programs to make the youth wing more effective and visible.
“With humility, we will listen. With strategy, we will plan. With experience, we will execute. And with recognition, we will keep our youth motivated,” Mr. Ameyaw added.

Describing his ballot position, Martin Ameyaw said picking number 3 presents an opportunity to clearly differentiate his message and connect with delegates.
He called on delegates to vote for leadership that combines competence with character.
Party delegates in the Ashanti Region are expected to vote in the coming weeks to elect new regional executives who will lead the NPP’s operations ahead of the 2028 polls.
The Regional Youth Organizer position plays a critical role in grassroots mobilization, voter registration drives, and campaign activities, making it one of the most strategic positions for the party’s electoral success.
With balloting now complete, campaign activities are expected to intensify across the region as aspirants engage delegates.
