POLICE SWAT OFFICER TESTIFIES: Eagle Hour Communion Healed My One-Year Paralysis After GH¢1.5 Billion Medical Treatment Failed

A member of the Ghana Police Service SWAT Unit in the Ashanti Region Central Command, Mr. Obeng, has given a powerful testimony of divine healing at the Pillar of Zion Church International, crediting the Eagle Hour Communion for delivering him from a year-long paralysis that even expensive medical intervention could not cure.

Sharing his testimony during the church Eagle Hour Thanksgiving service on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at the church headquarters, Mr. Obeng recounted how he was suddenly struck by a strange illness while on duty in the Northern part of Ghana.

According to him, the condition left him completely paralyzed for over one year. He disclosed that despite spending over GH¢1.5 billion old currency (GH¢150,000) on just one injection and specialist treatments, doctors could not restore his ability to walk.

“All those who knew me thought I would die,” Mr. Obeng told the congregation, his voice filled with emotion.

He said his turning point came during this year’s Eagle Hour program, which he followed via live telecast on television. With faith, he decided to participate in the final day of the program to receive the Holy Communion as his medication for the sudden affliction.

On the last day of Eagle Hour, Mr. Obeng made an effort to travel to the Pillar of Zion Church to take part in the communion service, but was attacked by severe cold and physical weakness and could not make it to the church premises.

Unwilling to miss his miracle, he sent a representative to bring the communion to him.

“In obedience and faith, I took the communion at exactly 10 o’clock. To my greatest surprise, by 12 o’clock, just two hours later, I felt strength in my body to get up and walk,” he testified.

Mr. Obeng said he instantly felt the miraculous power of Jesus Christ working through his servant, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, through the Word of God and the power in the name of Jesus.

The congregation erupted in praise as the police officer, who had been bedridden and unable to walk for a year, demonstrated his healing by walking freely before the church.

In his concluding remarks, the SWAT officer charged all members of Pillar of Zion Church International never to allow anything to take them out of the church.

He emphasized that the power of the Word and the tangible presence of God is in Pillar of Zion, extending to all those watching live on television and various social media platforms.

The Eagle Hour program, hosted annually by Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, Founder and Leader of Pillar of Zion Church International, continues to draw thousands of worshippers seeking spiritual encounter and healing.
