The Founder and Leader of Pillar of Zion Church Ministry International, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, has charged women to use their words to build and protect their marriages, saying a wife’s speech can either save or destroy her home.

Addressing the congregation during a All night church service focused on the roles of husbands and wives, Evangelist Awuah emphasized the responsibility of women in maintaining peace and stability in marriage.

“Women must let their words save their husband,” he told the congregation. “Your tongue is powerful. A wise woman builds her home with her words, but a foolish one tears it down.”

Speaking on the duty of a woman in a man’s life, the clergyman stressed that submission and respect are key biblical principles for a successful marriage.
He urged wives to support their husbands through encouragement and understanding, especially during difficult times.

He added that, “a wife should be submissive,” citing Proverbs 31:10: “A good wife who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.”

According to Evangelist Awuah, marriage thrives when both partners understand their God-given roles. He said while husbands are called to love and provide, wives are called to be helpers and custodians of peace in the home.
“Your words can heal a broken man. Your words can restore a tired husband. That is the duty God has placed on women,” he said.
The message drew strong responses from members of the congregation, many of whom said it served as a reminder of the spiritual and emotional weight women carry in the home.
Pillar of Zion Church Ministry International is known for teaching practical Christian living, with regular sermons that connect biblical principles to family and social issues.

Family counselors and marriage coaches in Kumasi have long noted that communication is one of the leading factors in marital stability.
Evangelist Awuah’s message aligns with ongoing calls for couples to prioritize mutual respect, effective communication, and faith-based values in their relationships.
