MTN Ghana Rewards Three Loyal Customers With Brand-New Toyota Land Cruiser Prados At Kejetia As Part Of 30th Anniversary Celebration

Three loyal customers of MTN Ghana have been rewarded with brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado vehicles for their long-standing patronage of the telecommunications giant’s products and services.

The beneficiaries; Ms Faustina Asante, a Kumasi-based businesswoman; Ms Mahama Wasila, a farmer from the Northern Region; and Mr Alidu Tanko, an engineer from Northern Ghana, received their vehicles at a colourful presentation ceremony held at Kejetia in Kumasi.

The awards form part of activities marking MTN Ghana’s 30th anniversary, being celebrated under the theme: “30 Years of Progress, Powered by You.”

The MTN @ 30 promotion is one of the flagship initiatives through which the company is celebrating its customers and recognizing their immense contribution to its three-decade journey in Ghana’s telecommunications sector.

Nine Prados For Loyal Customers

Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs Sandra Oduro Antwi, Senior Manager for Consumer Marketing at MTN Ghana, said the reward initiative is part of the company’s commitment to giving back to subscribers for their continued loyalty.

According to her, nine brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prados are being awarded to major winners under the promotion.

She disclosed that three vehicles had already been presented to winners in Accra, with another three handed over to beneficiaries at the Kumasi ceremony. The final three vehicles will be presented to other winners at a subsequent ceremony.

Mrs Oduro Antwi explained that beyond the vehicles, the promotion will reward more than 30,000 subscribers with various prizes including cash rewards of up to GH¢30,000, data packages and other physical items.

She noted that customers accumulated points through their everyday use of MTN services, including voice calls, data usage, bundle purchases and Mobile Money (MoMo) transactions, which automatically qualified them for the promotion.

Beneficiaries Share Their Joy

For Ms Faustina Asante, the reward came as a pleasant surprise. The Kumasi-based businesswoman said she has been using MTN services for several years, particularly in transacting her business, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the company for recognizing and rewarding loyal customers.

Ms Mahama Wasila, a farmer from the Northern Region, also expressed profound appreciation to MTN Ghana for selecting her as one of the major winners. She described the Toyota Prado as a valuable and life-changing reward.

Similarly, Mr Alidu Tanko, an engineer from northern Ghana, said he was excited and grateful to be honoured by the company. He described the occasion as memorable and thanked MTN for recognizing his loyalty.

The three beneficiaries used the opportunity to encourage fellow MTN customers to continue using the network’s products and services and to actively participate in its reward initiatives.

Three Decades Of Partnership With Ghanaians

Also speaking at the event, Mr Samuel Arthur, Senior Specialist, Mass Segment at MTN Ghana, expressed appreciation to Ghanaians for their unwavering support since the company began operations in the country.

He noted that customers have been at the heart of MTN Ghana’s growth and success story over the past 30 years and that the anniversary celebration provides an opportunity to acknowledge their pivotal role.

The Kumasi presentation forms part of a broader series of activities lined up to mark MTN Ghana’s 30 years of operations in Ghana, three decades of connecting people, empowering businesses and driving Ghana’s digital transformation.

Beyond the nine Prados, the MTN @ 30 promotion is expected to benefit thousands of customers nationwide with cash, data and other physical prizes, reinforcing MTN’s position as a customer-centred brand.
