Nana Yaw Wiredu Set to be Sworn in as Nkosuohene of New Juaben Traditional Area

Nana Kwame Nnuro Agyapong II, also known as Nana Yaw Wiredu, is set to be sworn in as Nkosuohene of the New Juaben traditional area on May 21, 2026, at Yiadom Hwedie Palace.

Currently, Nana Yaw Wiredu serves as the Presiding Member (PM) for the Asokwa Municipality in the Ashanti Region and is the incumbent Assembly Member for the Ahensan Estate electoral area.

A respected figure in Ghana’s local government, Nana Yaw Wiredu is known for his advocacy in environmental and sanitation issues.

He is also the Ashanti regional representative of NALAG and a national first vice president hopeful for NALAG, making him one of the longest-serving assembly members in Ghana.

Expressing his gratitude, Nana Kwame Nnuro Agyapong II thanked Daasebre Kwaku Boateng lll for the honor and confidence reposed in him, stating he is ready to serve the additional responsibility for the interest of development.
