Sun Seven Company Ltd. Accountant Flags Policy Uncertainty, Still Urges Investors to Back Ghana’s Market

The Accountant of Sun Seven Company Limited, Mr. Vickky, has raised concerns over recent government policy changes, warning that the shifts could affect operations and service delivery for businesses serving Ghanaians.

Mr. Vickky made the remarks during the grand opening of BOAHMAL Guesthouse at Manso Adubia in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region.

Sun Seven Company Limited is one of the leading firms in the import and export of excavators and heavy-duty equipment in the country.

Addressing guests at the event, Mr. Vickky said frequent policy adjustments by government create uncertainty for companies that rely on long-term planning and investment in capital equipment.

“Policy changes affecting our business and the services we render to Ghanaians are a major concern for us,” he stated.

He did not specify which policies, but noted that consistency and predictability in the regulatory environment are key to sustaining investments in the construction and mining support sector.

Industry players have repeatedly cited issues such as import duties, forex fluctuations, and licensing requirements as factors that impact the cost and availability of heavy machinery for local contractors and mining firms.

Despite the concerns, Mr. Vickky expressed confidence in Ghana’s business climate and the potential of its market. He praised Ghanaians for their hospitality and resilience, describing the country as a worthwhile destination for investment.

“Ghanaians are lovely and wonderful, and it is good to invest in the Ghanaian business,” he said.

He urged both local and foreign investors to take advantage of opportunities in Ghana’s growing infrastructure, construction, and natural resources sectors.

“Ghana has the people, the resources, and the demand. I encourage other investors to invest in the Ghanaian market,” he added.

The commissioning of BOAHMAL Guesthouse is going make a real feel of home away from home.

Stakeholders described the facility as a boost to hospitality and local economic activity in Amansie South, an area known for mining and agricultural production.

Mr. Vickky’s comments reflect a broader conversation among businesses on balancing regulatory compliance with growth, even as Ghana positions itself to attract more foreign direct investment under government economic programs.

Sun Seven Company Limited says it remains committed to supporting Ghana’s development through the supply of reliable equipment, while engaging policymakers to ensure a stable environment for business operations.
